Happy 4th of July…

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. I don’t have a wedding this weekend, so I plan on hanging out with Wendy and the boys, my family, and just relaxing a little bit. I can’t believe that it is July already. It is really scary because unfortunately that means that my birthday is just around the corner. :) Not really…I don’t feel any older. I just feel like I have 1000 other things to do in a day than I didn’t when I was 21.
It is funny how people celebrate the 4th of July from fireworks and family gatherings to the fact that AMC has a JAWS movie marathon all day long. What more could you ask for for the 4th of July? So if you have any 4th of July traditions or stories to share just put them in the comment section. Happy 4th!

Matt and Christina’s Wedding…

West Lafayette, Indiana - Matt and Christina were married in a beautiful outdoor wedding at the Lafayette Country Club. We were able to get all kinds of awesome shots of them all over the golf course and surrounding areas before the ceremony. This was the first really “hot” day out in June, so it was pretty tough on everybody with the heat. But they were right there ready for each shot.
Thanks Matt and Christina for letting me share in your awesome wedding. You guys were great.

The guys got to play a little golf before the wedding…The pressure was off after this.

What a gorgeous couple!

I think somebody was worn out. Being a flowergirl is hard work!

Hope’s Senior Session…

My first high school senior rep to feature is Hope from Carroll High School. She was awesome to work with on her sessions. Her personality fits right along with her awesome smile. I tried to get a few “serious” shots, but it is hard to deny her smile. She runs track and cross country, as well as being in the show choir. Some of my favorite shots of her are the “spinning” dance shots. But I also love the relaxed ones as well. So if you are interested in doing a senior photography session with me from Carroll High School just catch up with Hope and she can fill you in on all the details.
I will be featuring more of my high school senior reps here in the next couple of weeks…

How cool is this shot?? Definitely a Wise Photography Fav!

Brian and Jessica’s 06-07-08 Wedding…

West Lafayette, Indiana - Brian and Jessica had an awesome wedding on by far the most popular date of the year. They got married at the Grace United Methodist Church in Lafayette. The weather started off a little rainy, but the day turned out to be beautiful by the early afternoon. The reception was held at the Best Western Executive Plaza.
In between the ceremony and the reception we went to the Purdue campus to get some more shots. I mean that in more ways than one. :) We went to one of the fountains and a couple of places around there, but then we hit Harry’s Chocolate Shop and Jake’s Roadhouse.
Thank you guys for having me share in such a wonderful day. You guys, and all of your wedding party, were just awesome to work with for your wedding. Here are some of my favorites of the day (and it was hard picking these)…
A cute shot of Brian talking to Jessica and vice versa. He was just outside of the bridal room.

Almost time…

Here is “mom” motioning for them to hurry up…The flower girl wanted to make sure that every flower was in the right spot. (Notice the flowers all in a row next to every pew)

The “Pocket” shot…

And the groomsmen looking cool…

Outside Harry’s Chocolate Shop…

We saw a sign in Harry’s for “Live Nudes” and we actually saw one…:)

Here is the result of all their hardwork to get a wedding celebration SHOT!

At the reception I noticed a list for the DJ…hahaha…”No Country” just cracked me up…Can I add a few more songs to that list next time???

The garter toss resulted in an awesome victory lap…

I think Brian’s mom had fun rocking on the dance floor…

Hanging with my friends at Kelties…

Westfield, IN - If you have never been to Kelties in Westfield then you have to go. My small group from Oakbrook Church took a trip there for a fun evening of just relaxing and enjoying each other. Jeff lined up our transportation down there by getting a Hummer Limo (extended cab) for their trip. I would highly recommend that you try their bread pudding. It is awesome. I honestly think I could probably eat five to ten helpings of this and maybe more. :) Their lasagna rocked as well. I tried one of their martinis that our waiter recommended called the Keltie. I would definitely get that again as it had some Rasberry Absolut and Chambord. This place would be incredible for a rehearsal dinner for your wedding, or it is perfect for connecting with a group of great friends.
